Welcome to 2010 at the Adelaide Dental School!
It is my privilege to invite you to a new year of the Adelaide University Dental Students' Society (AUDSS).
As the student society of one of the nation's most distinguished and long-standing dental schools, we are proud to be an integral part of your student life. All our activities are tailored to enrich your time at the Dental School with experiences memorable, and assistance that is relevant to your journey as a dental and oral-health practitioner. We look forward to connecting you, our staff, the recent alumini and further, the nation's dental industry and profession.
Our Social Events in 2010 promise to be larger and more creative than ever before, with a wide-ranging and inclusive calendar that has an event to suit every taste. We have various Community Aid projects that run on local, national and global levels to promote student leadership. The new AUDSS Academic and Professional Development Program beginning in March is designed to help you remain acute to recent advances and technologies, and areas of different dental specialties. In addition, we will be updating you regularly throughout the year with an extensive array of print and online publications, so be sure to check your emails regularly!
We build on a legacy and a culture – one that is unique to the Adelaide Dental School, and defining for dental and oral-health students overall. We aim to remain increasingly reputable, trustworthy and creative in 2010, and to do this, we need your help. We have opened various ways for you to tell us your thoughts, including a new suggestion box in the AUDSS Basement Office, and an online forum on our new website, <www.audss.org > , scheduled to open in the first week of March. We will remain listening and acute to the many ideas and visions you have already begun to share with us, so please continue to let us know!
Finally, I would like to wish all of you an unforgettable year. On behalf of the AUDSS, I look forward to sharing in the exciting, inspiring opportunities that await each of us.
Best regards,
Jennie Han
